Bang Po Hotels - Koh Samui, Thailand

Bang Po and its series of Beaches in this more rugged coastline setting on Samui, face North into the Gulf of Thailand. Views from the beaches look towards Koh Pha Ngan Island, famous for its regular Full Moon Party and further on to the smaller Island of Koh Tao.

The coastline is very quiet here, with few facilities, even in the Village area of Ban Bang Po. Accommodation is limited to two Resorts and a few private Villas and Houses, some made available for occupancy by arrangement with the owners.

If you find accommodation in Bang Po, transport is essential to travel East to Mae Nam and on to Bophut, Big Buddha or Chaweng for Shopping, entertainment or Nightlife. Heading West and then South is also a good option to the Port Town of Nathon, for Shopping, sightseeing and viewing the local culture, built around the Islands origins.

Bang Po is located on the North West of Samui, fifteen minutes by car from Na Thon and thirty minutes from Samui International Airport. Arriving by Ferry is easy, but facilities on arrival in the area are minimal.
