Big Buddha Beach Hotels - Koh Samui, Thailand
Big Buddha Beach Introduction

The Big Buddha beach takes its name from the Wat Phra Yai temple built out to Sea and accessed by a causeway to a rock outcrop, that houses the twelve metre tall Buddha statue. The beach itself is quiet and peaceful during the day and offers cheap to mid-price accommodation and Restaurant choice.
About Big Buddha Beach

The main road running around the Bay has Dive shops, Supermarkets, Nightlife and a Garden Festival. British Pubs include the Elephant & Castle and Brahms & Liszt, with cheap Snack Bars and Beer Stalls, offering fun and relaxation in a very laid-back environment.
Big Buddha Beach has the advantage of being close to the even more popular beach and Nightlife resorts of Chaweng and Lamai. Within a short travelling distance, it is possible to enjoy all of the beaches and facilities on either side of the large peninsular that extends on the North East of Samui.
Big Buddha Beach Location
Big Buddha is located on the North East coast of Samui, very close to the Airport, the easiest way to get Samui. But many people arrive at the Ferry Port at Nathon, on the West Coast of Samui, having travelled by Train, Bus or Car to the mainland city of Surat Thani. A thirty minutes journey along the Northern beaches of Bang Po, Mae Nam and Bo Phut, takes you to Big Buddha Beach.
