Taling Ngam Hotels - Koh Samui, Thailand

The Taling Ngam area and its beach are regarded as the most remote of the Resort locations on Samui Island. Considered as the most picturesque Island location, with its pristine jungle shrouded beaches and get away style, the area appeals if you want a totally relaxing holiday, with few people or other distractions.

The beach of Taling Ngam of around six kilometres in length, faces West towards the mainland and in particular the large Island of Koh Phaluai and the Ang Thong Islands National Marine Park. The sunsets are amazing and a good excuse to leave the beach in time for an early drink, to view the wonderful sights.

Few facilities are available, outside the small Town of Ban Taling Ngam, so travel and excursion options are those offered by the Hotels and Resorts in the area, unless you hire a car. See our Island Tours Guide for details.

Taling Ngam is located on the South West Coast of Samui, a twenty minute drive to the Port Town of Na Thon and the Ferry terminal from the mainland. The journey to the Airport, beaches and Nightlife of Chaweng takes around one hour. Direct flights to Samui Airport are the best option, since arrival by car from the Ferry at Donsak, is often delayed, especially in peak season.
